This garland was made from pieces of a vintage quilt  Each heart measures approximately 2.5 inches wide and 2.25 inches high.  The garland is 46 inches of string and 30 of those inches are the hearts.  This was handmade with fabric with a history so there are imperfections such as stains, repairs, worn areas.
