This is a lovely piece of time worn wood that was once used to beat fabric during hand washing laundry.  It has many imperfections, all signs that it was used and valued.  It appears that it was also once used as a cutting board because it has many cuts.  It measures approximately 12 3/4 inches long and 5 1/2 inches across.
